This weekly on-going group is offered to people who are facing their own terminal illness. Nearing death is a time of surfacing emotions, experiencing numerous losses and tackling new decisions. This group gives the opportunity to share your feelings and experiences with others who are dealing with similar situations. It is facilitated by a counselor and guided by the group’s needs. People can attend on a drop-in basis.
This weekly on-going group is for family, friends and caregivers who are tending to the needs of a loved one who is dealing with a terminal illness or palliative stage of life. Participants will be able to share their feelings and experiences involved with this very complex situation. It is facilitated by a counselor and guided by the group’s needs. People can attend on a drop-in basis.
This six-week group meets is offered at various times throughout the year. It is led by a counselor and will cover topics such as grief and the grieving process, sharing losses, emotions around grief, and the healing process as well as participant directed needs. It offers an opportunity to get a better understanding of the grieving process and to process the experiences with your loss.
