The 2024 team rides to raise much needed funds for critical services provided by the Oceanside Hospice Society. Those services include grief counselling, support groups, one-to-one companioning, and delivery of medical equipment so that palliative people in our community are able to remain in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible. All of these services are offered at no charge in the Oceanside community. 

Our previous teams were very successful; $18500.00 in 2018, over $19,000 in 2019, over $20,000 in 2020, and $23, 132.00 in 2021, $25,000 in 2022 and last year, they raised an incredible $47,000! 

Each rider commits to raise a minimum of $1000.00 but our team goal is to match or better the 2023 total. Oceanside Hospice Wheeler cyclists ride for a special person; often someone who received care from our hospice or whose family was supported through their grieving process.
