The Reflection Labyrinth and Wind Phone are both located at the Oceanside Hospice Society Resource Centre.
🌿 Five Circle Shepherds Crook Labyrinth 🌿
Created with pinecones from the forest and shells from the ocean, this labyrinth brings together
the calming energies of both nature and the sea.
Before you begin, take a few deep breaths and let go of the thoughts and emotions
that weigh on you. As you walk, slow down, connect with the earth beneath your feet,
and notice the peace around you.
Pause in the centre, then gently make your way back along the path.
Labyrinth walking is a form of walking meditation found in many cultures and traditions –
a beautiful metaphor for life’s spiritual journey.
A place to restore balance, nurture body, mind and spirit, and reconnect with the rhythm of life.
💚 May your walk bring you love, peace and joy. 💚
Wind PhoneÂ
The Wind Phone is a disconnected telephone placed in a quiet outdoor space, offering a peaceful place
to connect with memories of someone who has died.
Take a moment to pick up the phone, pause, and speak to your loved one. Share a memory,
express what is in your heart, say the words left unsaid, or simply spend a moment in their presence.
Though the phone is not connected to a network, the idea is that your words are carried away on the wind.
The Wind Phone offers a private and meaningful space for grief, reflection and remembrance –
a place to honour love, express emotions and feel connected.
💚 May your time with the Wind Phone bring comfort, peace and a sense of connection. 💚
