Volunteer With Us

Oceanside Hospice is powered by over 60 dedicated volunteers who are the heart and soul of our organization. Their commitment ensures that patients and families receive compassionate, quality end-of-life care.

New volunteers are always welcome, and there are many areas within our organization where you can make a meaningful difference. Volunteer assignments are matched to community needs. Volunteers must complete the Oceanside Hospice training program, which involves 6 full-day education sessions, followed by mentoring hours in various volunteer roles.

To register, volunteers must complete an application form and attend a pre-screening interview. Successful applicants, those who are a good fit for our organization and our current needs, will be required to attend our annual training. This comprehensive training consists of 6 full-day sessions, and you will also be required to complete a background check.

If you’re interested, please complete the online application form.

Please note that we are currently full for our January 2026 training, but will reach out to discuss potential opportunities for involvement with our organization.
